One Step Closer: Plane Tickets

After several weeks of looking for the best price and times, I finally got my plane tickets today! 101 days until I board the plane to Florence, Italy. This flight will change my life forever and I absolutely can't wait. Leaving on a Monday from Bloomington, IL. at 4 p.m., I land in Detroit where I will wait for a few hours before boarding my connecting flight to Paris. Once I board the plane to France, it is about a 9 hour flight (over night) before I hit European soil. I should arrive in Paris Tuesday around lunch time and will have a nice four hour layover to explore the airport and get a bite to eat. After the wait, I can board the flight from France to Italy. It is a two hour flight directly into Florence, landing me there around 6 p.m. (Tuesday evening)...just in time for a little exploring and another meal. Thankfully, I will arrive in the evening so I shouldn't have to wait too long to go to sleep, hopefully I don't mess up my sleep schedule to much.

There is still so much that needs to be figured out and I can't even begin to think about them yet. I am not even sure where I will be living yet! Believe it or not, I am actually looking forward to the classes I will be taking. Every step makes me that much more excited...and nervous.
