I got a letter in the mail the other day that had the official acceptance letters from both ISU's study abroad program and from Lorenzo de Medici (the host institution in Italy). I now have all of the documents necessary to obtain my student visa...at least I think I do. The next step is to schedule an appointment with the Italian Consulate up in Chicago.
With all of this stuff to plan and get done, I am really thankful to have the help and support of my parents. I am so grateful to have two loving and kind parents that are encouraging and supportive every step of the way, I haven't even left the country yet but I feel like this experience has already helped me grow into a more responsible person and I couldn't have done it without my family.
Thanks for being there whenever I need it...and sometimes when I don't. I love you always.
