Visa Appointment

It's been made...I have set up an appointment to apply for my student Visa. Next week, my parents, Catherine (another girl from ISU going to Florence), and I will take the train up to Chicago and visit the Italian Consulate. I still have a couple of things to complete before I go, but compared to the amount of paperwork on the checklist, I think I am off to a good start. After the application meeting I will have to wait a couple of weeks, then I think the only thing left to do us pack and be on my merry way. Things are getting so close it is almost too much to handle, I can't tell if it is excitement or nerves though...perhaps it is a combination of both.
